WEEK 11 (29/01/24 - 04/02/24)
Hi! This week Anika and Emmeline are worked on soldering our motor and colour sensor onto the robot (Bob). Divi worked on code and connecting the controller to Bob (because surprise surprise it wasn't working again) and Luna traced the designs for the exterior of our robot, which are pictures of a zombie apocalypse.
WEEK 12 (05/02/24 - 11/02/24)
Week twelve! This week, Divi refined the code for the IR sensors for the Pi, inserted the code and attached them on the bottom. Anika and Emmeline worked on making a practice track for the Lava Palava challenge and Luna sent the frames off to print and continued working on tracing the artwork.
WEEK 13 (19/02/24 - 25/02/24)
Thirteen weeks in and Luna was transferring the artwork onto the newly printed wooden frames, only to realise it wasn't working very well and quickly changing tack to putting the artwork straight onto the illustrator file. Anika and Emmeline had to jump on fixing two of the wheel wires that had fallen out of their pins. Annoyingly, we had no photos of the wire configuration (needless to say we now do). Divi began researching the sonar code and testing it for minibits.
WEEK 14 (26/02/24 - 03/03/24)
Week fourteen!! We're getting closer! Anika and Emmeline attached the sonar onto the chassis this week, while Divi worked on building the code for bob's claw. Luna continued getting the artwork onto the frames and sent it off to print :D
WEEK 15 (04/03/24 - 10/03/24)
Week fourteen and we were attaching Bob's claw for Eco-Disaster! We put in the code quickly and Emmeline and Anika spent the rest of the time practicing with Bob. While this was happening, Luna and Divi realised they had forgot to put finger joints onto the illustrator file to connect the frames without tape and fixed that up.
